This race celebrates a traditional holiday . highlighting the importance of involvement in our communities. A beautiful 5k in historic Downtown Williamsburg
and through the campus of The College of William & Mary is the perfect venue for a great outing for the whole family.

Events will be held for children and a raffle of outstanding food & wine items will help raise money to combat hunger in this country.

Packet pickup will occur on Wednesday, November 24 at The Day's Inn Downtown Williamsburg located at 902 Richmond Rd between 5 and 7 PM. Avoid long race day lines and pick up early if you can. Since the race will be timed with the disposable Chronotrack D-tag system, you will be able to pick up your timing chip as well. So you will have everything you need to hit the starting line on race day!

The Day's Inn Downtown Williamsburg is also the host hotel for this year's event. A block of rooms for the race have been reserved at a rate of $47.25 per night. Just refer to the race when reserving your room. Call 757-229-5060 to book your reservations. This offer expires on November 10, so book early.

Race morning packet pickup and late registration will occur between the hours of 7 and 8 AM behind the Blue Talon Bistro restaurant located at 420 Prince George Street in Williamsburg.

RACE COURSE

The Blue Talon Bistro 5k is a looping USA Track and Field certified 5k road race starting on Merchant Square.s Duke of Gloucester Street. The runners will through the
campus of The College, then loop back around though scenic downtown Williamsburg and, finally, finish on Prince George Street.

PARKING

Parking on race day is available in the Parking Deck on Henry Street and surrounding legal street parking.

5K REGISTRATION

The fee is $25.00 for all registrations post marked by November 10, 2010. The fee after November 10, 2010 will be $30.00 before race day. Race day registration is $35. Children's Race is $5.00 per child through race day. No refunds, Exchanges or Transfers allowed. Special finisher awards will be given to all children. Please mail all registrations to Kale Running, 1211 Buckingham Ave, Norfolk, VA. 23508. Please make all checks payable to Kale Running. Registration is also available on Active.com. Race day registration will be available behind The Blue Talon Bistro from 7:00 to 8:00 am.

AWARDS

Awards ceremony will start at 10:00am located in the parking lot behind The Blue Talon Bistro. There will be plenty of food and drink. Door prizes will be
raffled off at this time. Children will receive finisher ribbons.

AGE GROUPS

Top three Male & Female Overall, Top three Male & Female Walkers and Top three Male & Female in each age group will receive an award.11 and Under,
12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over. First Place Overall Male & Female will each receive a special prize.
